From Data to Decisions: Strategic Facilities Planning in Action
This session explores how to move toward a county-wide, data-driven approach to facilities planning. The session will unpack the drivers behind a County’s strategic study, including ageing infrastructure, limited data, and the need for coordinated investment. Learn how facility conditions, space utilization, and employee experience are integrated to inform future real estate portfolio decisions and investments. The discussion will also highlight lessons learned, practical strategies for other jurisdictions, and emerging trends like hybrid work and technology infrastructure.
